Wow, I just read this elsewhere (some of you are familiar with WAH Mafia) - this really speaks to the issue of not being paid decently as a WAHer - Kim from WAH Mafia was definitely fired up about something when she posted this today:
Kim is on her Soapbox

Thanks for posting this, Karen, I don't know how I missed it. I agree with Kim that's it morally bankrupt for a company to use shills to counteract complaints. And it's not very clever or tactful for the moderators to joke about it to others. I just wish she'd been a little less discreet so we'd know what organization she was talking about. I, and I'm sure others, will check out a company's boards if they exist, hoping to get real reactions from employees.

Companies do need to treat employees with respect and pay fairly. I don't understand why they think it's necessary to be underhanded. You'd think it would be easier to just be honest.

WOW! Not to get too far off topic but I noticed your site and I wanted to say I hope you are up and running very very soon. You did not deserve to get hacked. Its sites like the one mentioned in the rant that deserve such hideous treatment.

It sickens me to think that people would basically steal from their employees. Doesn't look good when a company takes from an employee when issues like this go to court. God doesn't like ugly and what goes around comes around. I will pray for them and pray they find a way out of no way. Its just sad.

No better than a scam or con artist. This is precisely why we post scam information and things like this. We have to all help each other avoid such illegal practices. Now who is on their soapbox ...sorry. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!
