Among the top 10 companies for fully remote jobs in Q3, nine employers (i.e. VocoVision, UnitedHealth Group, Centene, Humana, Microsoft, Coalition Technologies, Allstate, Leidos, and GDIT) are also included on our list of the “Top 100 Companies to Watch for Fully Remote Jobs in 2024.” These 10 employers were responsible for 9.55% of the fully remote job postings we shared during Q3. Once again, VocoVision and UnitedHealth Group reigned as fully remote hiring powerhouses, with each company posting at least two times as many fully remote job postings as any other business during the quarter.

At any time, the Virtual Vocations job board is filled with at least 15,000 job postings across 42 remote-enabled career fields. Remote job categories range from business operations and instructional design to non-profit and social media. These top 10 telecommuting job industries accounted for the most fully remote job openings for the second quarter of the year.

During July, August, and September 2024, the information technology sector saw 3.60 times more fully remote job openings than any other field.
