Job Summary

A company is looking for a 508 Compliance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct audits and evaluations of digital and electronic information technology for compliance with Section 508 standards
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure EIT accessibility
Review and test websites, applications, PDFs, documents, and multimedia for accessibility compliance

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in accessibility compliance, including Section 508 standards
Proficiency in accessibility testing tools, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA
Experience working in a government contracting environment is desired
Certification in accessibility (e.g., CPACC, WAS, CPWA) is desired
