Job Summary
A company is looking for an Academic Services Tutor to provide personalized academic support to adult learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update learning materials in reading, writing, math, and study skills
- Lead live tutoring sessions and create individualized learning plans for students
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with faculty to align tutoring efforts with educational goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in reading, math, English, education, training, or a related field
- Two or more years of experience leading courses or training sessions with adult learners
- Familiarity with lesson planning and understanding the needs of non-traditional adult learners
- Computer literacy and basic skills to navigate required technology
- Ability to support a diverse and inclusive work environment
