Accounts Payable Team Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Payable Team Lead for Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Controller to close monthly books and act as second in command
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of vendor invoices and perform reconciliations of selected GL accounts
• Manage timely vendor payments and oversee accounts payable aging analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of general accounting experience with technical accounting knowledge
• Previous experience in Accounts Payable accounting is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Sage GL and AP is preferred
• Strong understanding of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principles
