Aerospace Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Aerospace Mechanical Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and modifies 3D CAD parts/assemblies and 2D drawings for aerospace components
• Collaborates with engineers to accomplish drawing pickups, corrections, and data manipulation
• Provides technical support and reviews engineering drawings for comprehension

Required Qualifications

• AS Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of aerospace experience and reading/interpreting engineering drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) and CATIA V5
• Experience with feature-based CAD systems and industry design standards
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
