Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Development Manager to join its Information Technology leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, staff development, and performance management for the application development team
• Oversee operations of application development teams and collaborate with business leaders to deliver solutions
• Evaluate and implement new applications, ensuring compliance with functional requirements and security standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 10 years in IT, 5 years in management)
• Proven experience in directing software development and implementation
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC methodologies and best practices
• Experience in supervising and mentoring staff
• General knowledge of insurance operations and application software
