Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specification Writer (Architectural).
Key Responsibilities
- Write architectural specifications for the company's product portfolio to support end users and design build firms
- Ensure specifications comply with relevant building codes and local regulations
- Prepare catalog cuts and product-specific information as requested by architects
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience in the door/hardware or a related industry
- Proven knowledge of IBC, NFPA 101, NFPA 80, NFPA 105, and ADA compliance regulations
- Current AHC certification is preferred
- Experience with Bluebeam PDF software is preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical/vocational school degree is preferred
