Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Manager Physician Coder Pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of medical coders, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations
• Assist in setting and maintaining departmental budgetary goals and monitor performance metrics
• Collaborate with leadership to establish coding quality standards and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Health Information or related field with relevant coursework
• Active certification such as CCS, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
• Minimum of five years of progressive coding experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of coding software applications and computer systems
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
