Associate Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Information Security Analyst to join their cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting vulnerability remediations and monitoring security systems for potential threats
• Support the implementation and maintenance of security tools, and contribute to security policies and procedures
• Participate in incident response, security compliance audits, and GRC activities

Required Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Strong understanding of computer networks, operating systems, and information security concepts
• Familiarity with common security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
• Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
