Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Engineer II - Backend - HCP Terraform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services for HCP Terraform
- Continuously improve the product by writing code in Ruby on Rails
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support production services
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of production experience with backend applications (e.g., Ruby on Rails) and databases (e.g., Postgres, Redis)
- Experience upgrading Ruby, Rails, and dependencies
- Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems
- Familiarity with best practices for application and infrastructure security
- Experience debugging performance bottlenecks for live services and systems
