Job Summary
A company is looking for a Telephonic Musculoskeletal Care Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage medical case management for work-related musculoskeletal injuries, including assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation
- Collaborate with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees to monitor and report on injured workers' progress
- Utilize a digital engagement tool to facilitate case management and enhance communication with injured workers and care teams
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in specified states
- Experience in case management of workers compensation cases and management of musculoskeletal/orthopedics preferred
- Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, or CRC) preferred
- Ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight
- Skilled at patient education
