Category Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute a reset process for assigned categories, collaborating with retailers on planograms
• Analyze customer and syndicated data to provide insights and recommendations on distribution, assortment, pricing, and promotion
• Develop consumer, shopper, and retailer insights to inform targeted strategies and customer-specific selling stories

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, preferably in food or beverage
• Proficiency in space management software (JDA & 345 preferred)
• Knowledge of retail POS, syndicated, and panel data (Dunn Humby, IRI, & Numerator preferred)
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to understand and communicate space management concepts within category management
