Category Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Category Analyst who will play a key role in the Customer Development Organization by analyzing data to drive business plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the reset process for assigned categories, collaborating with retailers on planograms
• Identify efficiencies in the planogram drawing process using analytical tools
• Develop insights and recommendations based on customer and syndicated data to support category growth

Required Qualifications

• Experience in the consumer-packaged goods industry, preferably in food or beverage
• Proficiency in space management software, such as JDA and 345
• Knowledge of retail POS, syndicated, and panel data (e.g., Dunn Humby, IRI, Numerator)
• Ability to understand and apply space management concepts within category management
• Experience in developing consumer and shopper insights for strategic planning
