Category Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities for indirect spend categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic sourcing process, including developing sourcing strategies and negotiating contracts
- Maintain technical and business expertise in assigned spend categories and drive productivity improvements
- Manage requisition, purchase order, and fulfillment processes while ensuring client satisfaction and risk mitigation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline related to the category or significant procurement experience
- Multi-year track record in procurement activities or similar business experience
- C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or other relevant certification required
