Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Emergency Department Coder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately code Emergency Department records in compliance with industry standards and guidelines
- Utilize EPIC software to perform coding tasks efficiently
- Ensure coding accuracy and completeness to support proper billing and reimbursement processes
Required Qualifications:
- CCS credential required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department coding experience
- Familiarity with EPIC software is preferred but not mandatory
- Availability for at least 20 hours per week, with flexible days and hours
- Must pass a pre-employment coding proficiency test and background screenings
