Certification Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certification Engineer to lead and support certification activities in compliance with aviation regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define IMA certification activities and develop an IMA Certification Plan
• Interface with customers and regulatory authorities to agree on certification approaches
• Prepare and review compliance documentation and support responses to regulatory inquiries

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in avionics systems certification, ideally with IMA platforms
• Experience with FAA and EASA regulations
• Knowledge of TSO-C153 and TSO-C153A requirements
• Familiarity with compliance documentation and certification processes
