Job Summary
A company is looking for a Coder.
Key Responsibilities
- Review patient medical records to identify and assess coding opportunities for risk adjustment
- Educate providers on documentation improvement for chronic and major medical conditions
- Develop educational materials to enhance clinical documentation and support coding capture
Required Qualifications
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Risk Coder (CRC)
- Advanced knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Associate degree in healthcare or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with CMS HCC Risk Adjustment coding and data validation requirements
- Computer literacy in medical information systems and records management software
