Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Refund and Coordination of Benefits (COB) Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and process claims associated with refunds, ensuring accurate logging of details
  • Verify and update member records for Coordination of Benefits
  • Ensure compliance with desk procedures and HIPAA/PHI guidelines
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute for education
  • 6 months to 1-year experience in managed care insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid is required
  • Familiarity with insurance concepts such as co-pays and coordination of benefits
  • Basic understanding of medical forms and medical terminology
