Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Commercial Lines Underwriting Assistant to support a growing underwriting and brokerage team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from retail agents and carriers, ensuring high customer service standards
- Process endorsements, binders/invoices, and other documents accurately and efficiently
- Act as a liaison between brokers or clients and underwriters to obtain necessary information
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate required; College courses preferred
- Previous work experience in insurance, customer service, banking, or similar fields
- State specific Insurance License required or to be obtained within a specified period
- 1-2 years of relevant experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and various rating portals
