Computational Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Computational Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with scientists to analyze large datasets of genetic, genomic, and clinical data
• Develop analytical approaches to integrate and interpret data for insights into disease biology
• Document processes, findings, and code, and present findings to the department and collaborators

Required Qualifications

• PhD or Masters with significant experience in relevant fields such as Statistical Genetics or Computational Biology
• Extensive experience in large-scale genetic/genomic data analysis and genetic epidemiology
• Proficient in R, Python, and shell scripting; familiarity with C++ is a plus
• Experience with Git and high-performance computing environments
• Ability to work independently and produce high-quality analysis results
