Job Summary

A company is looking for a Consumer Loan Underwriter I.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and make decisions on consumer lending loan requests in accordance with policies
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with lending by staying current on industry trends
• Ensure accurate loan applications by verifying income and reviewing credit scores

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• Minimum of two years' experience in consumer loan origination required
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
• Ability to work remotely efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to perform basic physical tasks related to office work
