Job Summary
A company is looking for an Editor, Copyeditor and Proofreader Consultant (Retainer).
Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit documents produced by the Care and Macroeconomics Team, ensuring clarity and adherence to style guidelines
- Conduct thorough fact-checking and verification of data in reports and publications
- Advise on document improvements for readability and visual appeal
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Social Sciences, or related fields
- At least 5 years of editorial experience, particularly in gender equality and women's empowerment
- Proven experience in editing documents related to gender equality, economic empowerment, and development
- Experience applying gender inclusive language in academic writing and copyediting
- Proficiency in editing software and familiarity with content management systems
