Corporate Patent Docketing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patent Docketing Specialist for a 3-6 month remote contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the patent docketing system, tracking critical patent deadlines accurately
• Assist in the preparation and filing of patent applications and related documents with relevant patent offices
• Collaborate with internal teams and external patent agents to manage patent portfolios and ensure compliance with deadlines

Qualifications & Education

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate or pharmaceutical patent docketing
• Experience with patent docketing software (e.g., FoundationIP, CPI, Anaqua, etc.)
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical patent issues, including patent term extensions
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
• Certification or training in intellectual property or patent law is a plus
