Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder II.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures for coding
• Apply ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 guidelines to assign and sequence diagnostic and procedural codes
• Maintain current knowledge of coding updates and assist with charge corrections as needed

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in surgical coding and multi-specialty
• Experience with EPIC is required
• CPC Certification is mandatory
• Knowledge of anatomy and clinical disease processes
• Familiarity with government and commercial payer reimbursement guidelines
