CPC Certified Denials Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Professional Denials Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and review client medical records for accurate code assignment
• Identify and remediate denials received by clients
• Code professional fee charts as needed and maintain compliance with coding guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active CPC/COC/CCS or CCS-P certification in good standing with AHIMA or AAPC
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in physician/ProFee or payer Rejection/Denials Remediation
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• E/M code assignment knowledge is preferred
• Experience with EHR/Billing systems and Cerner Powerchart is preferred
