Cybersecurity Technical Instructor

Job Summary

A company is seeking a Cybersecurity Instructor to provide technical training and prepare students for entry to mid-level jobs in the field of Cyber Security.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate a full-time, 15-week cycle of technical training using a structured curriculum, focusing on various technical competencies
• Utilize an in-house Learning Management System for assignments, tests, and performance monitoring, while managing and utilizing a teaching assistant effectively
• Provide ongoing feedback to students, coordinate with career coaches for student success, and ensure a minimum of a 90% pass rate on certification exams

Required Qualifications and Training

• Expert-level knowledge in server management, hardware, software, networking, mobility, virtualization, project management, and security
• Must hold Network+ CompTIA Security+ certification; CCNA, CISSP, SANS, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certifications are strongly desired
• Must be CompTIA CYSA+ certified or able to earn the certificate within 30 days of hire
• Some teaching experience, preferably with adults in an online environment, is required
• At least two years of professional experience in the tech industry in a security role
