Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Analyst III to perform in-depth evaluation and analysis of potential fraud cases and support complex case development.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct statistical research and analytics for case development and law enforcement data requests
- Utilize data analysis techniques to detect fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare/Medicaid claims data
- Prepare and participate in training related to Medicare/Medicaid fraud analysis
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or related field; preference for MA or MS
- At least 2 years of experience in data analytics
- 2+ years of SQL or SAS development experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare information and claims data, particularly Medicare and Medicaid
- Experience with database management systems for data manipulation
