Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Decision Scientist for their car insurance division.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the car insurance pricing program
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to develop and implement predictive models
- Lead research to identify pricing and underwriting opportunities and implement actions with various teams
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in building insurance pricing programs using advanced modeling techniques
- Proficiency in data science programming languages, particularly Python and SQL
- Advanced experience with predictive models using machine learning approaches
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Prior personal insurance industry experience is a plus
