Designer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Designer to develop complex layout and design drawings using advanced CAD techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilizes CAD workstations to prepare complex layout and design drawings ensuring compliance with standards and codes
- Collaborates with Engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated design systems
- Trains lower-level Designers and performs checking procedures on drawings prepared by others
Required Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree or certificate from an accredited designer/drafter course or equivalent preferred
- Typically requires 8+ years of related experience
- Must be able to pass a government background check
- Strong PC and CAD skills are essential
- Efficiency in utilizing computer software for design assignments is required
