Job Summary
A company is looking for a DevOps Engineer - DBA to support their Platform Development and Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain database systems primarily for Microsoft SQL Server across various environments
- Perform routine DBA tasks including backups, performance tuning, and data migrations
- Collaborate with teams to integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines and maintain automation scripts
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in database administration or database-focused application support
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and familiarity with other RDBMS like MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of relational database concepts and experience with version control systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and exposure to DevOps pipelines
