Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Industry Engagement to connect with the grocery industry and drive strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with industry associations, grocery executives, and media outlets to gather insights and content distribution opportunities
- Monitor competition and trends in the grocery industry to inform content, messaging, and long-term strategy
- Plan and support the company's presence at industry events, facilitating connections and gathering insights
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the grocery retail space or grocery tech, with a focus on retail strategy, marketing, or merchandising
- Strong understanding of the grocery industry landscape and existing professional network
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams like Sales and Marketing
- Familiarity with media landscape and managing media coverage
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with industry experts and partners
