Disability and Benefits Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Disability and Benefits Specialist IV.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with leave of absence, disability, and accommodation laws in partnership with legal counsel and HR leadership
• Coordinate daily leave of absence administration, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation claim processing
• Analyze and recommend changes for leave of absence and disability benefits to enhance employee experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent professional experience
• 4-6 years of progressive work experience in leave of absence management and/or disability management
• Experience in coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to staff members
• Ability to identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of core office automation software, including Excel and benefits/payroll systems
