English Copy Editor Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an International Consultant - English Copy Editor (Retainer), Home based.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide editing, proofreading, and rewriting services for knowledge products and publications
• Make revisions based on the UN editorial style manual and ensure consistent style and formatting throughout documents
• Thoroughly review annexes and prepare a complete table of Contents and Acronyms if needed

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree in English Literature, Journalism, or a related field; Bachelor's degree with substantial experience may substitute
• At least 5 years of professional experience in editing, copyediting, and proofreading
• Proven record in editing knowledge products and communications materials for external audiences
• Native-level proficiency in oral and written English; computer literacy required
• Familiarity with gender equality and women's issues is desired
