Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Oncology Nutritionist.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional status and provide appropriate medical nutrition therapy and education
- Manage disease-specific dietary needs and assist patients during chemotherapy treatment
- Document assessments and interventions in the electronic medical record and collaborate with oncologists and clinic staff
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nutritional Services; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of nutrition experience and at least one year in oncology
- Must obtain RD or RDN certification for the state of Florida before hire
- Experience with procedure entry, insurance, and medical terminology preferred
- Maintenance of Dietetic/Nutritionists licensure and Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Registration required; CSO preferred
