Follow Up Associate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Follow Up Associate to investigate and resolve denial accounts in healthcare billing.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and examine sources of denials using charge master, coding, and EDI billing knowledge
• Collaborate with third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and prove medical necessity
• Submit technical appeals and maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Prior experience in healthcare billing and claims preferred
• Ability to work successfully in a team setting
• Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding (ICD-9, CPT) is advantageous
