Freelance Sound Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Freelance Sound Designer to create and integrate audio elements for video projects on a per project, on-call contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce high-quality sound effects and audio for video projects
• Collaborate with directors and editors to understand project requirements and audio needs
• Revise and refine audio based on feedback from clients and internal reviews

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sound Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency with industry-standard sound design software such as Pro Tools or Logic Pro
• Strong understanding of sound design principles, including mixing and mastering
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Flexibility to work on a per project, on-call basis with varying project timelines
