Job Summary
A company is looking for a Geospatial Software Engineer to support the operations of an earth observation constellation.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable, automated data processing pipelines for scientific data products from satellite sensor data
- Optimize image processing pipelines for efficient computing resource usage
- Collaborate with engineers to implement new functionalities and assess imagery products for accuracy and quality
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role
- Expert knowledge of Python
- Expert knowledge of GDAL, OpenCV, or other image processing libraries
- Experience with remote sensing, photogrammetry, or GIS data processing at scale
- Experience building production software systems for cloud computing deployments
