Job Summary
A company is looking for a GWTG Heart Failure Data Abstractor.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstracts data according to project parameters and industry specifications
- Maintains current knowledge of abstraction requirements and standards
- Participates in registry operations tasks as assigned and meets defined quality and productivity standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of current abstraction experience in AHA GWTG Heart Failure
- Proficient in clinical registry data abstraction specifications and software systems
- Exposure to quality improvement concepts and processes is preferred
- Preferred certifications include RN, RHIA/RHIT, or CPHQ
