Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily charge entry for assigned surgical centers, ensuring compliance with reimbursement guidelines
• Resolve claim rejections and ensure timely follow-up on billing inquiries
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare billing regulations and assist with reports and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• One year of previous experience in hospital clerical work or medical terminology preferred
• Experience with various healthcare insurance payers is preferred
• Familiarity with billing software such as Cerner, nThrive, or Meditech is preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• High school diploma or equivalent required
