IBM i Operator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IBM i Operator III to support Cloud and Managed Service clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage user profiles, passwords, and authority levels
• Monitor system performance, job alerts, and backups
• Develop and maintain system automation scripts and runbook documentation

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400, iSeries) systems
• Experience with system backups, BRMS, and disaster recovery planning
• Familiarity with job schedulers and high availability solutions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Willingness to undergo a background check due to handling sensitive client data
