Job Summary
A company is looking for a Virtual Behavioral Health Crisis Assessment Counselor (Remote - PRN - Multiple Shifts).
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitates patient involvement in treatment and education through individual, group, and family counseling
- Conducts mental health assessments and provides therapeutic interventions for discharge planning
- Acts as a liaison for child and adult protective services and addresses abuse and neglect cases
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Active LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or HSPP license in the state of Indiana for out-of-state applicants
- Experience in behavioral health crisis assessment and counseling
- Knowledge of community resources and support systems
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare team members
- Understanding of psychosocial risk factors and discharge planning processes
