Information Systems Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce information systems security plans and policies in accordance with NIST 800-53 and FISMA requirements
• Engage with federal stakeholders to assist with ATO package development and ensure compliance with policies
• Maintain operational security posture and review program information security systems to recommend improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline
• 5 years of ISSO experience
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Understanding of FedRAMP and cloud technologies, preferably AWS
• Knowledge of security best practices and methodologies for risk management
