Job Summary
A company is looking for a remote Inpatient Coder II.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign medical codes for inpatient records
- Ensure coding follows guidelines and regulations
- Gather relevant data from medical documentation
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- RHIT, RHIA, or CCS certification obtained through AHIMA or AAPC
- Experience with EPIC and Optum
- Proficiency in ICD-10-CM/PCS coding
- HIM Inpatient hospital-based coding experience
