Job Summary
A company is looking for an Insurance Follow Up Specialist to ensure proper billing and reimbursement of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact insurance companies to secure and expedite payments
- Manage follow-up and appeals resolution processes
- Serve as a liaison between patients, insurance companies, and departmental staff
Required Qualifications
- Two years post high school education or AA degree preferred
- Related health care or insurance industry experience
- Knowledge of Federal and State billing requirements preferred
- Minimum two (2) years patient accounting experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration may substitute for experience
