Job Summary

A company is looking for an Insurance Specialist (Denials Follow Up).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage assigned insurance receivables to meet business line expectations
• Complete timely follow-up on accounts to prevent cash loss and ensure resolution within 90 days
• Document actions taken and prepare appeals for payment to insurance companies when necessary

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience in a health care receivables environment
• Must have EMR experience
• Familiarity with widely used patient accounting software
• Continuing education and training in industry career development
