Laboratory Billing Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Consultant - Laboratory Billing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and enhance full-cycle billing and reimbursement processes for laboratory services
• Identify denial trends, underpayments, and revenue leakage; implement corrective actions
• Support genetic and molecular test coding, billing compliance, and payer engagement

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of RCM experience in clinical or molecular/genetic laboratories
• In-depth understanding of payer billing practices and reimbursement models for lab services
• Strong knowledge of CPT/HCPCS coding, pre-authorization, and claims management
• Familiarity with lab billing systems (e.g., Xifin, Telcor, CollaborateMD, Waystar)
• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CRCS, CMRS, CPC)
