Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Data Scientist, Infrastructure Optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with key business stakeholders to drive infrastructure cost efficiency
- Build and design scalable machine learning systems and deliver forecasting and optimization expertise
- Transform data insights into actionable business recommendations and execute long-term strategic projects
Required Qualifications
- MS/Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline
- 8+ years of experience as a data scientist, with at least 5 years in time series forecasting, anomaly detection, or optimization
- Strong background in data science Python packages such as xgboost, scipy, and scikit-learn
- Experience in building and deploying resource-constrained optimization models in production
- Strong understanding of cost drivers and optimization opportunities in cloud environments
