Job Summary
A company is looking for a Lead Supply Chain Engineer to optimize IT procurement and manage software assets within its internal IT organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary supply chain liaison for IT-related materials and services
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective solutions and strategic suppliers
- Manage software renewals and subscriptions, ensuring compliance and cost optimization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, IT, or related field with 8-12 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience
- Strong experience in IT procurement and supply chain management
- Knowledge of software asset management and renewal processes
- Understanding of FAR/DFARS compliance and federal procurement requirements
- US Citizenship is required for this position
