Lead Technical Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Technical Revenue Accountant to ensure the accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of revenue recognition for high-volume, global transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize scalable, automated accounting processes for revenue streams and operational efficiency
• Provide technical accounting guidance on new business models and product launches, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement revenue recognition systems and maintain internal controls

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition
• B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a closely related discipline
• CPA certification (or equivalent) is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, with experience in technical accounting guidance
• Hands-on experience with payment platforms or fintech solutions and advanced Excel skills
